This is a hurdle you can overcome!

Job interviews are the perfect combination of what ADHDers and people with anxiety would love to avoid:

  • Remembering things on the spot. 404 file not found!
  • Talking about yourself in glowing terms, concisely and with a professional manner.
  • Going somewhere new! the parking, the timing. ugh!
  • Meeting new people who are there to judge you!!!

But, it's not all bad. You want that job. You want to work in that company. Or you simply need the money. This is just a hurdle. ADHDers are amazing at finding a way! Let's prep. You'll do great!

And you'll get to see who your boss and coworkers will be. This is a two way street!

You're in good hands!

In this class, I'll help you prepare for an in-person or online interview. It may not be an experience you look forward to. But we can bring down the stress and let your skills shine!

I've been on both sides of the interview panel including being the actual hiring manager. Add ADHD and anxiety into the equation, the result is 'experience'. I'd love to share that with you in an easy-to-digest way.

You can be amazing at this! It's a matter of how you approach it & what methods you use. The recruitment process may not be the best experience for us neurodivergent folk, but we are resourceful.

My Story

Hi, I'm Deniz, an adult-diagnosed ADHDer.

My background is in Science & Engineering. For the past 15+ years, I worked in Biotech. I hired my first direct-report in 2009! yup, a long time ago.

Since then, I've hired more and sat on interview panels for other hiring managers.

I also interviewed for roles I was offered. And one that I wasn't. oh well.

The recruitment process isn't neurodivergent friendly, but knowing the ins and outs, I’m happy to give you all my pointers and lift your interview experience up!

I design all my courses for maximum memory retention for ADHDers. You will remember the content because, unlike a textbook, it depends on visual story telling and examples you can relate to.

Can't wait for you to join the amazing people I had the wonderful privilege to reach.

Who should join?

You're an ADHDer actively searching for a job.

You're dissatisfied with your current job or career level and would like to get started with looking but it feels like a huge project.

It's been a while since you've interviewed for a job. Either because you've been self-employed, prioritized family or caregiving, healing or you've been in your current company for a long time.

The thought of interviewing is what's stopping you from wanting to advance in your career.

You fear there may be layoffs/redundancies in your company. The signs are there. You want to be prepared but don't know where to start.

This course will be accessible indefinitely, so even if you're not interviewing this month or year, you can always come back to it later.

You can also use some of these methods in public speaking if you get a lot of anxiety around presenting at work.
